As an Admin in Wauld, you have full access to view and download any credential issued within your workspace. Whether you need a backup copy, want to verify formatting, or send the file manually, Wauld makes it easy to download credentials in PDF or PNG formats.

Before starting this article, we recommend first understanding the Credential Details View by visiting: Viewing Credential Details .

Viewing the Issued Credential

To view the details of a specific credential issued to a recipient:

  1. Go to the "Recipients" section from the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. In the Recipient List View, click on the recipient whose credentials you want to review.

  3. This opens the Recipient Details View, where you'll see a list of all credentials issued to that recipient within the current workspace.

  4. Click on the credential you want to explore.

  5. This opens the Credential Details Modal, displaying complete information and available actions.

  6. In the top-right corner of this modal, click the “View Credential” button. This opens a Credential Preview Modal where you can see the full credential exactly as the recipient would.

Downloading the Credential

Once you're in the Credential Preview Modal, follow these steps:

  1. You’ll find a "Download" button (also at the top-right).

  2. Click on the Download button; a dropdown menu appears with two format options:

    • PDF – Best for print, email attachments, and formal submission

    • PNG – Ideal for social sharing or embedding in web pages

  3. Choose your desired format.
The system will generate the credential and start the download instantly.

Why Download Credentials?

Admins might download issued credentials for several purposes:

  • Manual sharing with recipients if email delivery fails

  • Archiving credentials for internal documentation

  • Printing for offline distribution or physical certificate ceremonies

  • Design review for quality assurance and formatting checks

  • Legal or compliance requirements where physical copies are needed
