In a collaborative environment, it's often necessary to maintain important context about recipients; such as follow-ups, special requests, or internal remarks. Instead of manually recording these details in spreadsheets or emails and sharing them across the team, Wauld provides a streamlined solution with the Private Notes feature.
Private Notes allow your team to store internal-only information about recipients; fully visible to your team, and never shown to the recipient.
Before starting: To access Private Notes, you must first navigate to the Recipient Details View. If you’re not familiar with that yet, we recommend starting with Viewing Recipient Details .
Where to Add Private Notes
To locate the Private Notes section:
Navigate to the Recipients section from the left sidebar.
Click on any recipient in the list to open their Recipient Details View.
Once in the Recipient Details View, look to the right side of the screen.
You’ll see a dedicated section titled Private Notes.
How to Add or Edit a Private Note
Whether you’re writing a note for the first time or updating an existing one, the process is simple:
Click the Edit button beside the Private Notes label.
The display field will convert into a text box, allowing you to enter your note.
You can write up to 500 characters.
This is ideal for including context or information your team should be aware of regarding the recipient.
After entering your note, click Save to store it securely.
If you change your mind and don’t want to save the note, click Cancel to discard your changes.
You can update the Private Note any number of times. Just click the Edit button again, make your changes, and save.
Private Notes are stored securely and only accessible to team members with appropriate roles and permissions within the organization.
Recipients cannot view or access these notes under any circumstance.
This feature ensures that important context and communication history stays within your organization, reducing the need for external tools or manual tracking.
