When you create a new account in Wauld, a default workspace is automatically created using your organization’s name. But what exactly is a workspace?

Workspaces in Wauld act as independent operational units within your main issuer account. Each workspace can have its own settings, team members, credentials, designs, and configurations. This allows organizations to maintain clear separation across teams, departments, programs, or geographic units — all under one central account.

Why Use Workspaces?

Workspaces offer powerful flexibility and access control:

  • Unlimited Workspaces – There’s no limit to how many workspaces you can create within an account.

  • Role-Based Access – Invite users into specific workspaces with custom roles and permissions tailored to their responsibilities.

  • Switch Anytime – Seamlessly switch between workspaces from the navigation menu to manage credentials, users, and designs in different units.

  • Independent Settings – Each workspace can be configured uniquely, making it easy to tailor the experience per use case or team.
