Wauld makes it easy to view and manage all your digital credentials from a single, secure place; no need to keep track of separate links. Whether you’re reviewing your achievements or downloading them for sharing, this article walks you through it all.

Before proceeding with this article, we highly recommend starting with Understanding the Recipient Dashboard to get a clear overview of how the portal works.

How to View a Credential

Once you've logged into the Recipient Portal, you'll land on the Credential Gallery View, where all your received credentials are displayed in a tile-based format.

To view a specific credential:

  1. Click on the desired credential from the gallery.

  2. This will open the Credential Detail View, which presents comprehensive information about the selected credential.

In the Credential Detail View, you'll find:

  • Issuing Authority Name

  • A badge indicating whether the organization is verified

  • A link to the issuing authority’s website

  • Credential Preview displaying the certificate or badge

  • Recipient Name and Date of Issuance

  • Credential ID – a unique identifier assigned to every credential. This is critical for authenticity and traceability, helping to prevent any tampering or duplication.

Credential Actions Available in the Detail View:

Depending on what actions your Issuing Authority has permitted, you may be able to:

  • Share the Credential - To know more about sharing credentials, visit

  • Download the Credential

  • Add the Credential to LinkedIn

The availability of these actions is controlled by the issuing organization. If an action isn’t visible, it means your issuing authority has not enabled it for recipients.

Additional actions available for every credential

Voided Credential View

A credential may be marked as voided, either by the issuing authority or automatically when an update occurs.

When a credential is voided:

  • A Voided Banner will be displayed at the top of the Credential Detail View.

  • The banner clearly indicates that the credential is invalid.

  • A Voided Date will be shown, specifying when the credential was voided.

  • All recipient actions (such as sharing, downloading, or adding to LinkedIn) will be disabled.

If your credential was voided due to an approved change request or issuer update, the Credential Detail View will also display a View Updated Credential button. Clicking this will redirect you to the updated, valid credential that replaces the voided one.

Expired Credential View

Some credentials are issued with a specific validity period. Once the expiration date passes, the credential will be marked as expired.

When a credential is expired:

  • An Expired Banner will appear at the top of the Credential Detail View.

  • The banner includes the Expired Date of the credential.

  • All recipient actions (such as sharing, downloading, or verifying) will be disabled.

  • Expired credentials are considered invalid, even if you previously downloaded or shared them externally (for example, as a PDF or on LinkedIn).

How to Download a Credential

To download your credential:

  1. From the Credential Detail View, locate the Credential Actions section on the right side of the screen.

  2. Click on the Download Credential button.

  3. Your credential will be downloaded in PDF format, preserving the official layout and details.

You can also share your credential with others in several ways. To learn more about the sharing options available; including sharing via link, email, and LinkedIn; refer to the article: Sharing Credentials (Link, Email, LinkedIn)
