Many recipients receive credentials via email, but over time:

  • You constantly follow up through emails or phone calls without clarity on status.

  • You're unsure how to verify the credential or if it’s even still valid.

This can be especially frustrating when you’re applying for jobs, preparing for higher studies, or submitting credentials for compliance. You shouldn't have to dig through your inbox every time you need to prove your achievement.

How to Create a Wauld Recipient Account

Creating an account is quick, secure, and completely free. There are the following two ways to access the sign-up page:

  • From the Wauld Website

    • Go to wauld.com.

    • Click on the "Sign Up Free" button.

    • You'll be taken to the Wauld Web App.

    • Scroll to the bottom of the login modal where you’ll see the message: “Looking for your issued certificates or badges? Login or sign up.”

    • Click on “Sign up” to continue.

  • From the Login Page

    • If you’re already on the login screen, click the “Create account” button directly.

Sign-Up Form Details

On the sign-up screen, you’ll be asked to fill in:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

After entering your details, click the "Create Account" button.

What Happens After You Click “Create Account”

  • You will receive an email from Wauld with a link to verify your account and set your password.

  • If the system detects that an account already exists for that email (for example, if you previously accessed a credential or submitted a change request using verification code), then:

    • You will receive a “Reset Password” email instead of a set password email.

    • This ensures you can access your already-created profile and dashboard securely.

  • If you don’t receive the verification email, return to the sign-up screen. There you can:

    • Edit your email address if you entered it incorrectly.

    • Click “Resend Email” to resend the verification message.

  • If you suddenly recall that you’ve already created an account, click “Sign In” to go to the login page.

Email Verification & Setting Your Password

  1. Open the email and click the “Verify Account” button.

  2. You will be redirected to the Set Password screen.

  3. Enter and confirm your new password. Your password must:

    1. Be at least 8 characters long

    2. Include at least one uppercase letter

    3. Include at least one lowercase letter

    4. Include at least one special character

  4. Once these conditions are met, click “Set Password”.

Welcome to Your Recipient Dashboard!

After setting your password, you'll be taken directly to your Recipient Dashboard, where you can:

  • View all credentials issued to your email

  • Download or share them instantly

  • Submit or track change requests

  • Verify your credentials

Already Submitted a Change Request Without an Account?

If you submitted a Change Request without signing in (using the verification code method), then Wauld automatically creates a secure account for you in the background to help you manage the request.

So, when you later click on “Create Account” and enter the same email address, Wauld recognizes this and sends you a Reset Password email instead of a Set Password email; ensuring seamless account access.
