When you create a Wauld account; either by signing up directly or by having your account created automatically during a change request using the verification code flow; certain profile details are collected.
This article explains how your profile information is collected, where it is displayed, and how you can update it when needed.

When Are Profile Details Collected?
There are two ways a user can join Wauld:

  • By creating a new account: During the sign-up flow, you’ll be asked to enter your first and last name before your account is created. After that, you'll set your password and be taken to the recipient dashboard.

  • Automatically by Wauld when submitting a change request via verification code: If you haven't created an account on Wauld but attempt to submit a change request using a verification code, an account will be created under your name. In this flow, only your email address is collected.

Regardless of how you join Wauld, your first name, last name, and email address are stored securely.
