When you create a Wauld account; whether by signing up directly or by being invited to an existing organization; your first name, last name, and email address are collected as part of the onboarding process.
This article explains how your profile information is collected, where it is shown, and how to update it when needed.
When Are Profile Details Collected?
There are two ways a user can join Wauld:
By creating a new account for your organization: During the sign-up flow, you’ll be asked to enter your first and last name before your account is created. After that, you'll proceed to set your password and complete the onboarding flow.
By being invited to an existing account: If someone invites you to join their organization (in any role), you’ll be asked to enter your first name and last name while accepting the invite and setting up your account.
Regardless of how you join Wauld, your first name and last name and email are stored securely and used internally to identify your account within your organization.
Note: Your profile name (first and last) is never visible to recipients of credentials issued by your organization. It is only shown internally to relevant users based on their role and access level.
