Uploading Organization Assets

Designing documents often requires the consistent use of logos and backgrounds that reflect your brand identity. However, repeatedly uploading these assets for every new design can be inefficient and time-consuming.

Wauld solves this with Organization Assets; a centralized place to store your commonly used logos and backgrounds so they’re always readily available in the Design Studio. These assets are uploaded at the account level and are available across all the workspaces within your organization.

This article explains how to access, upload, and manage your organization’s assets, and what happens when you delete them.

Why Use Organization Assets?

Let’s say you uploaded a background and a logo while designing a document. Weeks later, you're creating a new document design and you'd rather not search your folders and re-upload those assets again. With Organization Assets, you don't have to.

Once you upload a logo or background as an organization asset, it becomes available directly within the Design Studio, allowing your team to quickly insert brand elements without repetitive uploads.

Accessing Organization Assets

To manage your assets:

  1. Navigate to the Admin Center via the side navigation bar.

  2. In the Accounts tab, under the Organization Details section, click the Organization Assets button.

  3. A modal will appear showing the assets you’ve previously uploaded; categorized as logos or backgrounds.

Uploading a New Asset

To add a new logo or background:

  1. In the Organization Assets modal, click the Upload Asset button to upload a new asset.

  2. Accepted formats include PNG and JPG, with a maximum file size of 2MB. You can upload by either clicking to open your file system or by dragging and dropping the file into the designated area.

  3. After uploading the file, you can preview the asset and select its type from the dropdown; either Logo or Background.

  4. Click Confirm to complete the upload or If you change your mind, you can click Cancel to discard the action.

Once confirmed, the new asset will appear in the modal and become instantly available within the Design Studio’s Organization Assets section for future use.

Deleting an Organization Asset

If you need to remove an asset from your library:

  1. Open the Organization Assets modal from the Admin Center.

  2. Hover over the asset you wish to delete; a Delete button will appear.

  3. Click Delete to trigger a warning prompt about your action.

  4. Click Yes, Delete to confirm and remove the asset permanently, or Cancel to back out.

Deleting an organization asset will not affect any designs that previously used it. Those designs will retain the asset as it was at the time.

Deleted assets are removed from Organization Assets and won’t be available for new designs in the Design Studio.
