Inviting Co-owners

When you create a Wauld account, you automatically become the Owner of that account. This means you have unrestricted access across all workspaces; the highest level of control in the system. However, managing everything alone isn’t always practical. That’s why Wauld allows you to invite multiple Co-Owners who have the same system-wide permissions as you.

Co-Owners act as your trusted partners; they can manage users, workspaces, credentials, settings, and everything else that the Owner can. This article explains where to view your Co-Owners, how to invite new ones, resend or revoke invitations, and how to remove existing Co-Owners when needed.

Viewing Co-Owners of the Account

To view all Co-Owners:

  1. Click on Admin Center in the side navigation bar.

  2. The Accounts tab will open by default.

  3. On the right side of the screen, you'll see a section listing all current Co-Owners.

This list includes both accepted users and those who have been invited but haven’t yet accepted the invite.

Inviting a New Co-Owner

To invite additional Co-Owners:

  1. In the Co-Owners section, click the Invite Co-Owners button in the top right corner.

  2. A modal will open prompting you to enter one or more email addresses.

Here’s how to invite users:

  • Type an email address and press Space to add it.

  • Repeat to add multiple email addresses.

  • The system validates each email address. If the format is incorrect, an error message will appear prompting you to correct it.

You can invite up to 5 users at a time.

Once all email addresses are entered, click Send Invite to dispatch the invitations. Each user will receive an email with an invite link valid for 48 hours.

Click Cancel if you want to forfeit the process without sending any invites.

After the invite is sent:

  • The user’s email appears in the Co-Owners list.

  • A placeholder like “Invite Yet to Be Accepted” will appear in the username field until the user accepts the invitation.

Resending an Invite

If the user’s invite expires or they can’t locate the original email:

  1. Go to the Co-Owners list in the Admin Center.

  2. Hover over the user whose invite you want to resend.

  3. Click the Resend button that appears.

  4. The system will immediately send another email with a fresh 48-hour invite link.

Revoking an Invite

If you’ve sent an invite to the wrong person or changed your mind:

  1. Hover over the pending invite in the Co-Owners list.

  2. Click the Revoke button that appears.

  3. A confirmation dialog will open. Click Yes, Revoke to confirm.

  4. To cancel the action, click Cancel in the confirmation popup.

Once revoked, the invite becomes invalid, and the user won’t be able to join as a Co-Owner unless re-invited.

Removing a Co-Owner

If someone no longer needs Co-Owner access; for example, if they’ve left your organization or are transitioning to a different role, you can remove them from the Co-Owners list.

Here’s how:

  1. In the Co-Owners list view, hover over the person you want to remove.

  2. Click the Remove button.

  3. A confirmation modal will appear. Click Confirm to complete the removal, or Cancel to back out.

Once removed, you can re-invite them with a different role if needed. For assigning other roles, visit: Inviting Team Members

Notes

  • There’s no cooling period or restrictions; you can invite and remove Co-Owners at any time, as often as needed.

  • Co-Owners have full administrative permissions, so make sure to only assign this role to users you trust with full account control.
