Resending an Issued Credential

Sometimes, a recipient may miss the original credential email, delete it by mistake, or simply request it again for convenience. In such cases, Wauld makes it easy for issuers to resend the existing credential directly to the recipient’s registered email address; without needing to reissue or recreate it.
If the email on record is incorrect, do not use the resend function. Instead, void the credential and issue a new one to the correct address. Credentials are tied to email addresses and cannot be re-assigned once issued.
How to Resend a Credential
Go to the "Recipients" section from the left-hand navigation bar.
In the Recipient List View, click on the recipient whose credentials you want to review.
This opens the Recipient Details View, where you'll see a list of all credentials issued to that recipient within the current workspace.
Click on the credential you want to explore.
This opens the Credential Details Modal, displaying complete information and available actions.
In the top-right corner of the modal, left to the “Preview Credential” button, click on the “Resend” button.
A confirmation modal will appear explaining the action. To proceed, click “Yes, confirm”. The system will resend the credential to the recipient’s registered email address.
The email address cannot be edited. Credentials are tied to the original email they were issued to.
What Happens Next?
The recipient receives the original credential email again, with access to view and share their credential.
The resend event is recorded in the Credential Audit Log, ensuring full transparency for future reference.
